Congratulations to Alicia Cleaver, Polak Lab alumna, who’s recently been notified of her acceptance to veterinary school!

 

In Alicia’s own words…: “Just wanted to share the good news- I will be attending Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine starting this fall. Thank you so much for the opportunities in the lab during my undergrad years…”

“Hopefully I’ll get more chances for research in vet school, although I’d bet it would be on slightly larger animals 😂”

Alicia worked in the lab as an undergraduate researcher from summer 2018 to fall 2019. Over summer 2018 she held a biological sciences STEM fellowship, conducting research on the trans-generational effects of paternal nutritional deficits on offspring susceptibility to parasitism.
