Dr. Karl Grieshop, who earned his MS in the Polak Lab, is the 2019 winner of the prestigious John Maynard Smith (JMS) Prize, awarded by European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB).

Karl currently is a postdoctoral fellow at Stockholm University & the University of Toronto. He will give the JMS prize lecture at the 2019 ESEB Congress in Turku, Finland. He has been offered a six-months junior fellowship at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, Germany. Well deserved Karl… we are sooo proud of you!
